OUR VISION

We wanted to make a difference.  Our intent was to create a legitimate theatre festival that incorporated the Broadway community into an environment that truly supported talented writers at little cost for the participants. Essentially, this is the first festival of its kind and we’re thrilled to be helping make the dreams of Broadway and T.V.’s next generation of writers become realities.  

This is your shot. 

Let’s put out a product that will create your mark and introduce you to the writing community while at the same time creating a terrific evening of theatre.

The NYNW Story

  • 30 - 40 shows are selected from hundreds.  EVERY submission is reviewed by at least one Broadway Producer.  There is no cost to submit.
     
  • The NYNW panel of Broadway producers, Emmy & Tony award winners who donate their time to celebrate the arts and work of these aspiring playwrights
     
  • In 2018 we have assembled a Broadway level GM Team to manage the Festival process - arguably the most qualified team of any Festival in NYC while remaining one of the least expensive at a theatre of this caliber​

  • NYNW was created in 2014 as a fun give back project to expose the work of top, aspiring writers to legitimate Broadway producers and T.V. professionals.  We never make promises, however, NYNW has since grown into something very special and with the successes beyond what we ever anticipated .  As we have expanded we have always been conscious of being cost effective to the participant relative to other projects in the marketplace while still providing a top notch theatre.​  We are proud of our TESTIMONIAL page.

  • Performances will enjoy the 199 seat space at Theatre Row on 42nd Street, NYC's premier Off Broadway stage!  The facilities include top notch technical capabilities second to no other Off- Broadway space in the city to make each show absolutely spectacular.  This really is "your shot"!
